March 16, 2016 - 3rd securPharm conference to the Falsified Medicines Directive
On March the 16th 2016 securPharm e. V. hosts the 3rd securPharm conference on the Falsified Medicines Directive 2011/62/EU in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The legislative procedure for the delegated regulation is nearly finished including detailed requirements to ensure patient safety regarding falsified medicines. The content of the regulation was adopted by the European Commission on October 2, 2015 and the content is now well known.
For the partners of the distribution chain in Germany the roadmap is quite clear: The regulation will enter into force in the first quarter 2016. All requirements must be implemented and working within three years time. Not later than 2019 the provisioning of the safety features is mandatory.
Members from the European Commission and the German Federal Ministry of Health will participate in the conference in person – the ideal chance to place Your questions! In addition experts from securPharm, ACS PharmaProtect and the distribution chain will show the challenges for the distribution chain partners to implement the delegated regulation.
Details on the conference will be published soon on www.securpharm.de/en.
